The purpose of Administrative Information Systems (AIS) is; to support the reporting needs of the University, to provide an automated method to collect, store and process university data, and provide technical expertise to university departments as required.  AIS is responsible for the support of the Banner; Advancement (AD), Finance (FI), Financial Aid (FA), Human Resources (HR), Student (ST), Self Service for students, faculty and alumni, and other sub-systems/interfaces.  For security purposes, only authorized personnel are permitted in the server room.  AIS is responsible for ensuring that all UNIX, ORACLE, Banner and interfaces fixes and/or upgrades are current.  AIS is responsible for the recovery of data and applications in the event of a disaster or error situation.
