Room 305 336-750-2260 University College Dean's Welcome University College is more than a facility. It is an attitude and a movement that place students at the center of all that we do. By assisting freshmen students with transitional issues, we enhance academic performance and increase the probability of student success. We ask students to invest in educational adventure. This is done by ensuring that students have positive and rewarding experiences when they engage in academic advising, personal and career counseling or tutoring and supplemental instruction. Through the efforts of University College, social isolation and academic frustration go away as students increase their confidence; build self esteem and realize that they have the tools and the assistance necessary to be successful. We strongly encourage freshmen students (less than 30 hours) to become fully engaged in the invention and the development of viable futures. Welcome to the beginning of a successful academic career.
