Description:

The artwork of 18 graduating Art majors from Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) will be exhibited in the Fine Arts Building on the WSSU campus this weekend. An opening reception is scheduled for Friday April 5 from 6 until 8 p.m.  The reception and exhibit are free and open to the public. The exhibit will be on view through Tuesday April 9, and will conclude with a panel discussion at 2 p.m. that afternoon by the exhibiting students during the University's Scholarship Day celebration.

The creative achievements of the seniors in the Department of Art + Visual Studies will be featured in this year's exhibition, with works that include digital media, graphic design, drawing and illustration, painting, photography and installation.  Students participate in the senior thesis exhibit in their last (or second-to-last) semester, and their work signifies the culmination of their program of study.
