Janine McDuffie Named Director of Human Resources and Payroll Systems
Janine E. McDuffie has been appointed director of human resources and payroll systems at Winston-Salem State University (WSSU).
McDuffie’s primary responsibilities will include directing employee recruitment, wage and salary administration, position classification, benefits administration, employee relations, labor relations and student employment. She brings to the position more than 15 years of human resources and related technology, analysis and research experience.
Prior to joining WSSU, McDuffie served as a business process analyst in the University of North Carolina’s General Administration where she developed and maintained standardized HR/payroll process models that were used by several institutions within the UNC system. Previous positions include human resources project management consultant at Fayetteville State University and human resources information systems analyst at North Carolina Central University.
She is a member of the North Carolina chapter of the Project Management Institute.
