As you enter to learn, the Office of International Programs (OIP) provides you a window on the increasingly interdependent and complementary lives of individuals and communities globally and locally. OIP is committed to providing you access to unparalleled learning experiences abroad and at home. We will work with you to ensure that you depart from Winston-Salem State University equipped with the skills and awareness for a fulfilling global citizenship that others will seek to emulate.

OIP is here not only to assist students wishing to participate in learning experiences abroad, but also to serve the students of our international community. Whether you are currently overseas and would like to study at WSSU, or an F-1 or J-1 student wishing to transfer here, please feel free to contact us for more information. Of course, all other international students currently here on campus (Fs, Js, Hs, permanent residents) are always welcome to visit our office for assistance and are invited to participate in our activities. We hope to see you all soon.

We also look forward to working with faculty and staff to promote curricular and co-curricular programs to equip students with knowledge, skills, attitudes and behaviors to function as globally competent citizens.
