Continuing Education Financial Assistance Programs
Winston Salem State University's Office of Continuing Education supports several financial assistance programs that can assist adult learners with their lifelong learning financial obligations.
Military Spouse Career Advancement Account (MyCAA): In partnership with ProTrain, LLC, the mission of the Department of Defense's Military Spouse Career Advancement program is to provide up to $4000 of financial assistance for eligible military spouses to obtain certification or professional development in various university courses and programs.
NC Workforce Development Courses: In partnership with ProTrain, LLC educational partner, the purpose of the North Carolina Commission on Workforce Development is to establish and guide a world-class workforce development system for NC. It will produce well-educated, highly skilled workers who perform at high levels and work in economically viable enterprises that provide good jobs at good wages.
Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA): In partnership with ProTrain, LLC, the mission of the United States Department of Labor TAA program is to provide benefits and services to workers who become unemployed due to the impact of international trade.
