The Student Experience office hires a select group of motivated, dedicated, and energetic students as Legacy Leaders. Legacy Leaders assist in orientation of incoming students during the RAMDITION Week. The leaders also facilitate small group meetings and serve as peer mentors to new students throughout the first year of enrollment. Additionally, Legacy Leaders are charged with conveying knowledge of and a strong commitment to Winston-Salem State University's history and ideals. Legacy Leaders must have strong team building and leadership skills. They must also have good communication and organizational skills.
- Currently enrolled as a full-time student with between 45-80 earned credit hours
- Good academic standing with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5
- Excellent communication skills
- Reliable and dependable
- Ability to work productively with faculty, staff, and students
