Collegiate Learning Assessment
The Collegiate Learning Assessment measures students’ writing and analytical skills. Samples of freshmen and senior students are tested annually. The results are compared across the samples at an institution for a measure of valued added by the institution. Results are also benchmarked against other participating institutions.
The CLA is a product of the Council for Aid to Education.
