Professional Development Committee (PDC)

The Professional Development Committee (PDC) shall review and make funding recommendations on matters that enhance professional effectiveness of faculty members in the areas of teaching, scholarship, and research. This committee shall also assume the responsibilities of the former Faculty Development Committee (see WSSU Constitution). It is designed to provide you assistance with accessing funds for your professional development needs.

The application cycle for PDC grants for the current academic year begins on September 1, 2014. Please review the policies of the PDC by reviewing the PDC Handbook.

Inquiries about the PDC application process for travel, research, and colloquia should be directed to the administrative personnel in the academic departments. All other questions may be sent to the PDC via email at pdc@wssu.edu.
