The Annual Fund
The WSSU Annual Fund provides a way for individuals, corporations and foundations to invest directly in the university, improving the academic experience for students and helping us produce outstanding graduates.
Annual gifts increase the funds available to achieve our strategic plans and to enhance WSSU’s reputation. Unlike endowed gifts, annual fund gifts are used in the current operating year to meet key needs.
Annual Fund dollars are the lifeblood of WSSU. They support current and emerging needs now.
Gifts to the Annual Fund empowers WSSU to:
Support student success through scholarships, internships, and community engagement programs
Create new initiatives that help us produce outstanding graduates
Enhance our academic offerings and co-curricular activities that improve student retention and graduation rates
Unrestricted Gifts to the Annual Fund allow the university flexibility in allocating funds to meet the greatest needs at any given time. All gifts to the Annual Fund are tax deductible.
