Secure Your Enrollment

To secure your seat in the Class of 2018, complete the enrollment steps before you arrive on campus.  Completing these steps on-time is critical because the steps may be tied to:

  • A specific deadline (Example: Submitting your FAFSA no later than March 1, 2014)
  • A limit on the number of spaces available for an event (Example: Rams on the Road sessions)
  • Your ability to complete other enrollment steps (Example: Housing assignments are only made to students who have paid their enrollment fee in full)

Accept your offer of admission.

  • Go to Banner RAMS Online
  • Click on Check Your Admission Status
  • Enter your Banner ID and PIN (PIN is your birthdate in mmddyy format until you change it)
  • Click on Fall 2014
  • Scroll to the bottom of the page
  • Click on Confirm Admissions Acceptance

Register for a Rams on the Road or Rams at Home session. During these sessions, placement test will be offered. Bring your acceptance letter and a picture ID for identification purposes.  For other times, contact Ms. Sherri Wilson at 336-750-2390 to schedule an appointment.

Pay your $300 non-refundable enrollment fee on or before the June 1, 2014 deadline.
Enrollment Fee payments may be made online and will be accepted during Rams on the Road and Rams at Home events. Pay your enrollment fee online now. You will need your Banner ID and PIN (PIN is your birthdate in mmddyy format until you change it).

Apply for Financial Aid by completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) before March 1, 2014. Learn more about Financial Aid and the FAFSA process.

Complete Placement Tests during Rams on the Road or Rams at Home sessions. For other times, contact Ms. Sherri Wilson at 336-750-2390 to schedule an appointment.

Submit a completed Immunization and Health History form by July 1, 2014 to:

All new freshmen must provide a complete immunization record as required by the North Carolina Immunization Law (General Statute 130A-152). You will not be allowed to move into your residence hall until you meet the Immunization Record Requirement.  Be sure to keep a copy of all documents submitted.

Know your WSSU email address. Once you accept your offer of Admission, you will receive a WSSU email address. (Please allow 2 business days for your email address to be activated.)

To find your WSSU Email address

  • Go to Banner RAMS Online
  • Click Enter Secure Area
  • Enter your Banner ID and PIN (PIN is your birthdate in mmddyy format until you change it)
  • Click Personal Information
  • Click View E-mail Address(es)

Your WSSU email address will be in the format username@rams.wssu.edu. Your password will be your Banner ID. To access RamsLive@Edu, WSSU’s student e-mail system, logon to Microsoft Outlook Live.

Submit an official copy of your final high school transcript to:
