The following programs and services are provided to help students succeed. In order to complete these online courses students will need a registration code from the Office of the Dean of Students.
This online education program offers a confidential and personalized experience for students at WSSU. The course includes alcohol and drug related content using video vignettes, blogs, IM chats, comics, and more as instructional strategies to help students understand how these can impact their academic success in college. The goal is to make sure that students make well-informed decisions regarding alcohol, and help them cope with the drinking behaviors of their peers.
An online education program to educate all students on the issues associated with sexual assault and relationship violence, taking into account their unique perspectives and experiences. Some of the topics include bystander skill and confidence-building strategies and specific policies from WSSU and corresponding procedures and resources.
A new online education program to empower students with the skills to successfully manage their finances while in college and beyond, and minimize the dropout rate and student loan defaults through education.
College Success Guide
This is a new online education course for upper-division students regarding alcohol-related content to remind students to make well-informed decisions around alcohol and how to cope with the alcohol-related behaviors of their peers. Also, it serves as a refresher course for students who have completed the AlcoholEdu for College.
