The staff of the Wellness Center welcomes you to Winston-Salem and WSSU. We hope you take advantage of the resources available to you which will help you to be successful during your stay here. Please consider as the semester moves forward towards graduation for some and the end of the year for others, that a lot of work needs to be accomplished and seeking out the help of our staff may be the answer you are looking for.
Continue to be an active member of the campus community. Activity not only keeps you fit mentally and physically but most importantly helps you to make those life-long friendships. There will be plenty of activities for you. You selected WSSU for a reason, it's a great place. Give yourself some time and get involved.
BE RESPONSIBLE. If you are concerned about a friend, Greek Life partner, classmate, talk to them. If you see someone that is too impaired to care for themselves or having difficulties, make contact and get them the help they need. Let us cooperate to make WSSU a welcoming and safe learning environment.
The Wellness Center is here to assist you in being successful at WSSU. Call or come by. We can help with most physical health, mental health, and substance abuse concerns.
