Board of Directors
The Simon Green Atkins CDC bylaws mandate that the Board of Directors include 15 members. Eight directors must be faculty and staff from Winston-Salem State University. Four directors represent residents/stakeholders in the CDC service area; and three directors represent CDC corporate partners. There are five standing committees that meet regularly. They include the Executive Committee; the Strategic Planning Committee; the Personnel Committee; the Finance Committee; and the Nominating Committee. In addition, ex-officio board members include a certified public accountant who prepares the CDC financial statements and the director of the City of Winston-Salem Housing and Neighborhood Development.
