Rebuilding Communities
- Assure balanced growth and development of communities surrounding Winston-Salem State University, as well as develop mutually beneficial relationships with the community which complement the university's educational mission,
- Foster economic and business development initiatives serving the needs of low and moderate income and otherwise disadvantaged persons,
- Develop and improve affordable housing and to foster infrastructure development within distressed and disadvantaged neighborhoods, and
- To promote the preservation of buildings and sites important to the African-American community.
