Alumni House

Construction Date: 1924

This house was built for Winston-Salem State University founder Simon Green Atkins and his family in 1924. It was subsequently inhabited by future presidents/chancellors Francis L. Atkins, Kenneth R. Williams, and Harold Douglas Covington. In the mid-1990s, the building became the home of the Office of Alumni Affairs.
