Course Reserves

Reserves are course-related materials, such as photocopied articles, books and videos placed in the library by professors for their students to use. All reserve items are available for short check-out periods (3 hours) from the Circulation Desk, and they are for use in the library only.

E-Reserves are available for many classes. They are either articles or chapters from books, and can be read online, printed out or downloaded to a disk or flash drive.

Faculty members who need to place photocopied materials or articles on reserve for one academic term or semester will NOT need to provide the library with proof of copyright permission. However, faculty members who need to place photocopied materials on reserve for more than one academic term or for consecutive semesters will need to provide the library with proof of copyright permission. Permission may be obtained by logging on to http://www.copyright.com or calling (978) 750-8400.
