| Position Responsibilities | |
| • Work collaboratively with department faculty, student advisors, and instructional administrators and staff to plan semester teaching schedules and course offerings • Chair the hiring process for faculty and make recommendations for hire. • Coordinate departmental program development and review processes, curricular changes, self studies, and accreditation. • Make departmental budget recommendations • Lead department meetings and attend Council of Chairs meetings • Assists and supports new instructors and professors in matters of instruction, curriculum, assessment, and other norms of the department and university • Serves as a resource to the administration and leadership team to assist in creating a culture of continual self-reflection and improvement. • Teach 2 classes each semester |
