Mass Communications Club
The Mass Communications Club offers workshops, lectures, field trips, and media networking opportunities. Membership is open to all mass communications majors and minors and students who have an interest in the field.
Active participation entitles students to take part in professional activities at no cost or reduced cost, to receive assistance in developing resumes and other job-seeking tools and to represent the club at special university and community functions.
Each year the club invites local professionals to the campus to address key issues in the field. Club members also host media professionals who are presented as part of the Joseph N. Patterson Lecture and Assembly Series.
For additional information, please contact Mass Communications Club adviser Dr. Valerie Saddler at phone (336) 750-2323 or email saddlerv@wssu.edu.

The Mass Communications Club and WSSU Association of Black Journalists co-sponsor a portfolio workshop, drawing on the expertise of local media professionals.
