The purpose of Administrative Information Systems (AIS) is; to support the reporting needs of the University, to provide an automated method to collect, store and process university data, and provide technical expertise to university departments.
AIS is responsible for the support of the Banner; Advancement (AD), Finance (FI), Financial Aid (FA), Human Resources (HR), Student (ST), Self Service for students, faculty and alumni, and other sub-systems/interfaces. AIS is responsible for the recovery of data and applications in the event of a disaster or error situation. We are responsible for the implementation and support of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system/application suite, Banner, and the related 3rd party applications.
We offer a variety of services, such as creating and maintaining databases that house administrative information, data extracts and loads, application development, business continuity planning and project management services, developing applications that allow University faculty, staff and students to have access to this information in a secure, electronic fashion, and providing tools and training to our community developers.
