Support of Non-university Authorized Applications
No unauthorized software will be installed on the university's hosts. Individuals installing non-networked PC software should register name and license with the Information
Technology Systems office. It is the sole responsibility of the buying department and the vendor to update the product’s database. Moreover, the vendor will be required to provide transaction records in the format defined by the university in order to ensure interface with the university’s applications. Software will be installed on the university’s mainframe only after proper university approval.
