  • Research and Project Interests:

  • In the areas of biomechanics and kinesiology, he studies movement patterns, electromyographic activity and ground reaction forces among different approaches of spinal fusion; the biomechanical and kinesiological screening of minority older persons; and 3-D motion analysis of gait abnormalities in patients with low back pain
  • In the area of AIDS research, he conducts assessments of the knowledge and attitude of health care individuals towards people with HIV/AIDS.
  • In the area of motor skill acquisition, he is interested in comparative methods of teaching manipulation skills.
