Technology Integration Group

The Technology Integration Group (TIG) provides innovation, development, support, training, monitoring and management of specific enterprise software applications and systems which drive academic, research, instructional, and staff productivity supporting the strategic initiatives of the University.

The Technology Integration Group seeks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of students, faculty and staff by providing highly integrated state-of-the-art tools, systems and training which empowers and prepares our students for academic, personal, and professional success at Winston-Salem State University.

The Technology Integration Group provides full lifecycle enhancement and support for the applications in its portfolio, as well as consultation and recommendation to the WSSU campus for technology solutions for the benefit of all associates.

Software, Application, and Integration Support

The Technology Integration Group provides full lifecycle enhancement and support for the applications in its portfolio such as - Office 365, Blackboard, Canvas, 25Live, MainSaver, Medicat, NeuLion, RAMTech, eProcurement , as well as consultation and recommendation to the campus for technology solutions for the benefit of all associates.

Technology Learning and Training

The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) is a resource for faculty and staff to learn how to improve and make efficient use of computers, networks and information systems. The TLC offers information technology courses and seminars, including Skype for Business 2016, OneDrive, and learning management system training.

Learning Management System Administration (Blackboard/Canvas)

TIG is responsible for the administration and advancement of our Blackboard and Canvas Learning Management Systems. We work closely with the faculty to support the management of their web-based courses. The LMS has an extensive set of features for supporting teaching and learning.
