There are numerous opportunities for study abroad in India. WSSU offers two programs in collaboration with UNC-Chapel Hill and Wake Forest University. Students may also apply through programs offered by approved third-party providers listed below. Students should consult with the WSSU Office of International Programs to discuss the program that best fits their need.

UNC Summer in India
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill offers a faculty-led academic summer program based in New Delhi, India. This program provides students with the opportunity to study South Asian
civilization and society while immersed in Indian culture and language.

WFU India
Wake Forest University offers a faculty-led program in summer focusing on Indian communication and culture.

American Institute for Foreign Study (AIFS) - India
Study abroad program at the University of Hyderabad.

Council for International Educational Exchange (CIEE)
India: Study abroad program in Hyderabad in a variety of academic disciplines.

Institute for International Education (IIE) - India
A listing of study abroad programs in India offered by academic institutions and study abroad providers compiled by IIE. Students interested in any of these programs should first contact the WSSU Office of International Programs.

ISEP Direct - India
Direct enrollment program at the University of Hyderabad sponsored by the International Student Exchange Program.

School for International Training (SIT) - India
SIT offers seven programs for study abroad in India that include field-based research and experiential learning, cultural immersion, and homestays.
