Here you will find information about the faculty development seminar “Integrating India into the Liberal Arts Curriculum.” Three-year project, supported with NEH and WSSU funding, had as its centerpiece a series of public lectures and professional development seminars for the twelve WSSU NEH faculty fellows. The presenters were a distinguished group of thirteen scholars and experts on India, who also committed to serve as resource persons for the faculty. Other activities included special invited guests and scholars in residence, a faculty development experience in India, and a capstone symposium featuring presentations by the WSSU fellows. NEH funds also paid for an expansion of holdings on India in C.G. O’Kelly Library. Finally, NEH and WSSU support has leveraged collaboration with institutions of higher education in India.
