Student Evaluation of Instruction Dates

PLEASE NOTE THAT, BEGINNING IN SPRING 2015, COURSE EVALUATIONS WILL BE ADMINISTERED EXCLUSIVELY ONLINE.

Beginning in Spring 2015, not only will the Student Evaluation of Instruction (SEI) be administered exclusively online, but there will be additional administration periods as well.  The administration dates for SEIs will be determined by the end date of the course.  This will allow courses that do not fall into the traditional 8- or 16-week categories to be evaluated as close to the end as possible.  If the end date is incorrect in Banner, then please notify Ginny Moench at 750-8636 immediately.  Please keep in mind that these dates (see Table 1.) are projected and can vary due to logistical issues.

These dates apply to face-to-face and online delivered courses, as well as courses that have been designated as Writing in the Major (WIM).  The new Student Evaluation of Instruction Instrument will be used for all three types of courses, with additional questions for distance learning and Writing in the Major (WIM) courses. 

All team taught courses will be evaluated through Digital Measures Course Response in Spring 2015.  Ginny Moench will contact department chairs and/or faculty members to confirm that the correct instructors are listed in Banner for team taught classes.
