Graduation Services is your source for information in preparation for graduation and commencement exercises. Degrees are conferred three times a year: December 20, 2013 (for the fall semester), May 16, 2014 (for the spring semester), and August 8, 2014 (for summer sessions). Candidates for graduation can check requirements and graduation policies, access forms, check deadlines and get current information about graduation related procedures and events.
In order to proceed with commencement you must:
- apply for graduation online through your Banner RAMS Online account
- pay outstanding debt to Student Account & Cashiering and
- meet with your academic advisor to ensure you are on track

Undergraduate Student Graduation Application Process
Undergraduate students must officially apply for graduation with the Office of the Registrar through Banner RAMS Online. The deadline for applying for graduation for Spring 2014 is November 19, 2013. In addition to the general education requirements, major and minor requirements, a candidate for a baccalaureate degree must meet Academic, Residence and Catalog requirements and regulations in effect at the time of initial enrollment. (Refer to the Undergraduate Catalog at the time of initial enrollment.)
All degree candidates, including transfer students, are allowed six years from the date of enrollment at the university to complete the curriculum under the requirements and regulations in effect at the time of enrollment. After six years, the current requirements and regulations must be met. For this purpose, the six years will be counted from August 1 of the year of enrollment to August 1 of the year of graduation. Substitutions and/or changes in course requirements must be recommended by the Department Chair and approved by the Dean.

Graduate students must officially apply for graduation with the Graduate Program. The deadline for applying for Spring 2014 is November 19, 2013. In addition to degree requirements, a candidate for a graduate degree must meet Academic, Residence and Catalog requirements and regulations in effect at the time of initial enrollment. 2014 Commencement Exercises
Students who submitted graduation applications for the summer or fall 2013 and degrees were conferred, are invited to participate in 2014 Commencement Exercises. Registration to participate in the 2014 Commencement will be required.
If you are planning to participate in the 2015 Commencement ceremony, it is important that you RSVP. We must receive your RSVP in order to plan for the ceremony. Your RSVP will be compared against a list of cleared graduates to ensure you have applied for graduation and met a degree and financial requirements.RSVP today!
