Dr. Lewis' research interests are criminal deviance, criminal justice, interpersonal and domestic violence, masculinities and psycho-social aggression and religion. The courses which he commonly offers are deviant behavior, social problems, sociology of mental illness, social theory, and sociolinguistics in hip hop music. He serves as a Program Evaluator for UNC General Administration's Minority Male Mentoring Program as well.
