Dr. Gloria M. Clark, CPA, is a Professor of Accounting in the Department of Accounting and Management Information Systems at Winston-Salem State University. She earned her Ed.D. from Atlanta University
in 1987 and joined the WSSU faculty in 1995.
She has served as faculty advisor for Beta Alpha Psi and Beta Gamma Sigma. In addition, she has chaired the Faculty Awards Committee and been a member of the University Promotion and Tenure
As a certified public accountant licensed in both North Carolina and South Carolina, Dr. Clark’s impact on the profession has been significant. She serves her community as a member of the board of directors of Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society.
Dr. Clark is the recipient of numerous teaching awards including the prestigious North Carolina Board of Governors’ Excellence in Teaching Award. Her scholarly activity includes publishing research papers in peer-reviewed publications and proceedings. She also has made presentations at several
