University Recreation (UREC) offers over 36,000 square feet of recreation, fitness and fun. UREC hosts a variety of activities and services to promote university involvement, health, wellness and community.
Your UREC membership offers you all-inclusive access to the facility and all amenities. Amenities include group exercise classes, personal training, equipment rentals, locker rooms, showers, fitness assessment and orientations and more.
UREC membership is automatic for all currently enrolled full-time WSSU students. WSSU part-time students, faculty, staff and affiliates are eligible to purchase memberships at specified rates. WSSU students, faculty and staff may sponsor adult household members, 16 years or older, at a specified rate during their membership enrollment term.
