Diggs director named to Time magazine list

Endia Beal, director of the Diggs Gallery at Winston-Salem State University, has been named to Time magazine’s list of “12 African American Photographers You Should Know Right Now.

“Her work is outstanding in documenting and narrating social issues in an often sardonic manner that is always respectful to her subjects,” writes Azu Nwagbogu, director African Artists’ Foundation, in his spotlight on Beal.

WSSU student Rajah Caruth to be featured in RiverRun International Film Festival

WSSU Motorsports Management student Rajah Caruth is the focus of Jack Gordon's “Outside Line,” a documentary short film. Making its North Carolina debut at the RiverRun International Film Festival, the film chronicles Caruth’s journey from virtual racing driver to professional driver in NASCAR’s national touring series.
