Vote to #RetoolYourSchool 2020

Winston-Salem State University is competing for up to $50,000 in grants as part of Home Depot’s 2020 Home Depot Retool Your School Campus Improvement Grant Program.

Since 2009, the Retool Your School Program has provided nearly 3 million dollars in campus improvement grants to Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) around the county. These grants help HBCU’s make maintainable improvements to their campuses.

Home Depot will award grants to nine Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) with the highest votes. The top three vote-getters in each category will receive grants of up to $50,000 for campus improvements.

Winston-Salem State University has been awarded a $30,000.00 grant from the Thurgood Marshall College Fund led by Dr. Karen T. Williams, Director of the A. H. Ray Student Health Center, to conduct rapid COVID testing of students who present with symptoms of COVID and testing of students who are exposed to COVID.
