What is your next step?
After graduating, I will be attending Louisiana State University (LSU) in the spring for my master’s degree. After that, I plan to work in hospice care.

How has WSSU helped to develop you as a person?
WSSU has helped me come out of my shell and interact with others more. I have also created wonderful relationships with all my professors in my program.

What advice would you give to someone who is thinking about attending WSSU?
Some advice I would give would be to create a solid relationship between themselves and their professors because it will allow them to be very successful.

Are there particular faculty or staff who supported or inspired you?
The staff member who really inspired me was Dr. Douglas Bates. He really showed me how important social work is and how social workers play a major role in how society functions.
