The Winston-Salem State University Department of Education welcomes elementary aged students back to campus for RaMS-C! Reading and Math Summer Camp (RaMS-C) is an academic summer camp for elementary aged students (rising 1st - 4th graders). The camp is designed to enrich the literacy, writing, and mathematics skills of each camper, better preparing them for the upcoming school year. Whole-group instruction takes place in a safe and interactive environment, led by certified classroom teachers. Additionally, university students have an opportunity to work alongside university professors and classroom teachers to learn while being actively engaged in the planning and implementation of skills and activities. Campers also participate in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math) activities to supplement their learning and provide hands-on experiences. The 2025 RaMS-C Camp is held on campus in the Anderson Conference Center from 9AM – 5PM (Monday -Friday) from June 16th – July 25th. RaMS-C is the Place to Be!
