Video-Conference / Distance Learning Support

The WSSU/NCREN TeleClass/Conference Facility operates out of G22 Anderson Center. The facility has two rooms offering the latest in social collaboration technologies via video conference format (H.264) in both rooms. The suite consists of one standard video classroom and one video conference room. The classroom offers video-follow-audio to quickly pick up individual conversations.

These rooms provide interactive video/audio interaction worldwide via the North Carolina Research & Education Network (NCREN) in the Research Triangle Park.

These rooms also provide social collaboration via Zoom licenses.  This includes the ability to host video conferences conjoined with Zoom meetings, to extend the university’s reach worldwide.  Recent collaborations via Zoom include reciprocal instructional courses with Hubei University of Chinese Medicine in Wuhan, and collaborative courses with Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi.

WSSU coordinates scheduling of these video conferences and also with WSSU’s Distance Learning courses. To schedule a video conference, custom social collaboration and instruction, or Zoom meeting in G22 Anderson Center, please contact:
