The 1,000 HORN$ Campaign is a signature initiative to strengthen the HORN$ program at Winston-Salem State University by rallying 1,000 committed donors in support of WSSU Athletics. Founded through the legacy of legendary coach and athletics director Bill Hayes, the campaign is a key part of restoring a championship standard for Ram Athletics.
Who can join the 1000 HORN$ Campaign?Anyone who is passionate about supporting WSSU Athletics can join. This includes alumni, young alumni, faculty and staff, students, parents, community supporters, and Ram fans who want to invest in the success of WSSU student-athletes.
How can I join the 1000 HORN$ Campaign?You can join by making a gift through the HORN$ membership program at the level that is right for you. Annual HORN$ membership levels begin at $25, and gifts can be made online, by mail, or through the WSSU Athletics Department.
What are the benefits of joining the 1000 HORN$ Campaign?HORN$ members receive benefits based on their annual giving level. Depending on the level selected, benefits may include a membership card and car sticker, quarterly electronic newsletter, lapel pin, invitations to exclusive WSSU events, bookstore discounts, the right to purchase Black Seats and priority CIAA Tournament packages, recognition opportunities, complimentary home-event tickets and parking, and special access experiences with WSSU Athletics leadership.
How will my donation be used?Your HORN$ gift directly supports student-athlete scholarships, academic support, training resources, modern facilities, and the overall student-athlete experience. Your support helps restore a championship standard for WSSU Athletics and honors the proud legacy of Ram Athletics.
