Department of Management and Marketing programs prepare students with conceptual foundations and practical skills for entry to mid-level positions in either for-profit or not-for-profit organizations in the private or public sector as well as equipping graduates with a solid theoretical basis to pursue advanced postgraduate degrees in business. Graduates of our programs are currently employed in entrepreneurial and managerial positions throughout North Carolina and around the world. Our students are strongly encouraged to participate in internships that complement and augment classroom theory with application oriented real-world skills.

The fully AACSB accredited department serves a diverse motivated student body, and is staffed by twenty full-time dedicated, talented, and friendly faculty members who come from diverse backgrounds. They teach and conduct research in Management, Marketing, Operations and Supply Chain Management, Quantitative Business and Management Science, Human Resource Management, Healthcare Management, and International Business. They regularly publish articles in international, national, and local business journals. A qualified faculty with a broad range of specialization, a modern curricula and contemporary technology are our strengths in preparing students for various opportunities in the competitive fields of management, marketing, business administration, and entrepreneurship.
