Join us for Virtual Voices - The Class of 2020 Celebration - an exciting online event to commend the hard work and achievements of the Class of 2020!
Please note: This celebration is not a substitution for commencement exercises.
- All spring 2020, fall 2019 and summer 2019 graduates are invited to participate
- All graduates will be invited back to walk the commencement stage when public health
guidelines allow for the traditional graduation experience. - Participation in the celebration does not indicate all degree requirements have been met.
The celebration will feature speakers:
- Dr. Elwood L. Robinson, Chancellor
- William Gibson, Student Government President
- Jarrett Goins, Senior Class President
Good News for Students
- Graduates, you can create a customized celebration slide and a 10-12 second video for the event.
- Your family and friends from across the globe can enjoy this virtual celebration from their phones, tablets or desktop computers.
- Everyone can share the moment with family and friends in chat rooms, watch groups, Twitter, Instagram, Facebook and other social media.
- You will be able to easily search for your slide and video and can also search for your friends’ videos.
- To protect the privacy of our graduates, only graduates who customize their celebration slide will be displayed.
- Graduates who do not respond will not be displayed.

Yes, please order your cap and gown in preparation for the 2020 Commencement exercise that will be rescheduled for a later date. We encourage you to wear your cap, gown, and other regalia or favorite WSSU spirit gear for your StageClip head shot and video. While cap and gown is encouraged, it is not required.
- You will receive an invitation by email.
- Please RSVP to the link confirming that you will participate in the celebration.
- You must respond in order to be included in the celebration.
- There will be no exclusions prohibiting verified graduates from participating.
