Winston-Salem State University Job Corps Scholars Program (WSSU-JCSP): Preparing Tomorrow’s Leaders Today with Career Viability. U.S. Department of Labor (FOA ETA-20-03). WSSU-JCSP will serve a total of 80 scholars over a 39month period with a goal of successfully placing 95% of all scholars in employment post-program after providing support for a 12-month certification program in Career Readiness, Nonprofit Leadership, or Computer Programming.
Lynch, E. ($318,639). Fall 2019. BCSER-IID: Foundations for a STEM What Work Clearinghouse for Broadening Participation Research in STEM Education. National Science Foundation EHR-Core (Award # 1937284). Phase 1 is a two year project to conduct a meta-analysis of Broadening Participation Research at HBCUs for the development of a STEM WWC database.
Lynch, E. & Dominy, S. ($189,000). Spring 2018. Delta Impact Award (subaward from TN Coalition to End Domestic and Sexual Violence). Center for Disease Control. DELTA FOCUS (Domestic Violence Prevention Enhancements and Leadership Through Alliances, Focusing on Outcomes for Communities United with States) is a five-year cooperative agreement funding 10 state domestic violence coalitions to engage in primary prevention of IPV. 5 year grant to support a graduate research assistant and undergraduate researcher in providing Bystander Empowerment and Education.

National Institute for the Study of Transfer Students. 1 year research grant on the perceptions of campus climate for military affiliated/connected transfer students.
Lynch, E., Brown, T., & Meisch, K., ($144,407.50) Spring 2016. APSU Improving Campus Climate for Increased Degree Attainment (ICCIDA). Tennessee Higher Education Commission. Institutional Outcomes Improvement Fund grant. 2 year grant to affect the outcomes of retention and degree completion of those identified as deficient in growth by providing explicit interventions to target populations based on their perceived adversities that would cause them not be retained to 60-90 hours and persist to degree completion.

Tennessee Board of Regents. 1 year research study to gain a better understanding of the factors beyond standardized test scores and grade point average that influence student success and engagement in academic pursuits, goal attainment and gaps in post-secondary matriculation and graduation for students from underrepresented populations.

TBR Student Engagement, Retention, and Success grant. 1 year pilot program to increase the retention rate and career readiness skills of underrepresented minorities to include students defined as economically disadvantaged; non-traditional students, and/or individuals with disabilities, all in their sophomore classification year.
