As Coordinator of the Writing Center at Winston-Salem State University, where she is a perennial instructor of Freshman Composition, Elizabeth S. Priest lives her life enlightened by the guiding principles of “The Thesis,” the heartbeat, soul, and driving force that sustains a paper from beginning to end. Her life’s thesis is a commitment to clarity, steadiness of spirit, and patient dedication.
