Biography
Dr. Alyssa J. Reynolds is dedicated to improving public health through free market mechanisms, researching the marketing implications of technology shifts and creating classroom experiences that are dynamic and valuable to future business leaders.Educational Background

Co-founder: Food is Free - LC
From the Food is Free website: The Food is Free Project is a community building and gardening movement that launched in January of 2012. We teach you how to connect with your neighbors and line your street with front yard community gardens which provide free harvests to anyone.
Started a chapter in the Mesquite Historic District - a food desert with a substantial portion of the popualtion below the poverty line - in downtown Las Cruces.
Co-founder: Agape Free Market
Worked in partnership with El Calvario United Methodist Church to provide free produce, cooking demonstrations, and free children's clothing to the Mesquite historic district. Developed partnerships with the local farmer's markets to distribute unwanted produce that would have otherwise been discarded.
Event organizer: End the Backlog Benefit
Currently assisting in organizing a charity event to provide funds so that La Piñon, Sexual Assault Recovery Services of Southern New Mexico can lobby the New Mexico legislature to provide budgetary resources to end the rape kit backlog in New Mexico. My assistance includes branding, volunteer recruitment and community outreach for attendees.
