Erica E. Smith

Biography

Erica Smith is the Director of Team Boss (Student Support Services grant). Erica has twelve years’ experience as a Trio grant director, previously leading both Upward Bound and Educational Opportunity Center projects. As a first-generation college graduate, she is dedicated to providing students with opportunities for academic, personal and professional development. Erica graduated from UNC-Wilmington with a Bachelor’s degree in History, Wake Forest University with a Master’s degree in Liberal Studies, and Appalachian State University with an Educational Specialist degree in Higher Education Leadership. Currently, she is a doctoral student in Educational Leadership at ASU and serves on Surry-Stokes Friends of Youth’s board of directors.
