Biography

Dr. White has over 25 years of clinical experience working predominantly in an outpatient orthopedic setting; she owned an orthopedic private practice for 16 of those years. While in this orthopedic setting her primary focus was on managing patients with spine, both cervical and lumbar, and general orthopedics (surgical and non-surgical), as well as sports rehab and sports enhancement. She is very active with the APTA and NCPTA working with the clinical competence, public relations & marketing, and legislative committees. Dr. White worked as an Adjunct Faculty member on the orthopedic team prior to joining the faculty at Winston-Salem State University full time. She has strong leadership training both through managing and operating a private practice, completing Six Sigma Red Belt Training, Crucial Conversations: Tools for Talking When Stakes are High and Leadership Davidson County.
