The Campus Transparency Report includes a history of organizations found responsible for violating the Students' Code of Student as outlined below. Any finding of hazing by the national organization is also included. Hazing statistics will be included in the Annual Security report.

| Description of Hazing Incident | Following an investigation into hazing allegations, the University found a preponderance of evidence to support that Phu Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Mu Beta Chapter engaged in the following hazing behaviors: - Aspiring members were subjected to coercive directives, forced tasks, and physical paddling that caused both mental stress and physical harm. - Students were intentionally placed at risk of bodily harm, resulting in bruising, disorientation, and exhaustion. - Aspiring members experienced repeated verbal and controlling commands, and belittlement, creating a hostile and intimidating environment.· - The combination of physical, verbal, and coercive behaviors reported to be done by the alumni members of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia, Mu Beta Chapter unreasonably interfered with students’ access to a safe and supportive campus environment. |

Annual Security and Fire Report (Clery Act)
Campus safety is an important consideration for any community. To enhance campus safety, WSSU provides an annual report to current and prospective students and employees. The information in this report can help empower members of the campus community. Students and employees can take advantage of campus resources and can make well-based decisions that impact individual as well as community safety.

Summary of the Clery, or “Right to Know” Act:
The Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act mandates all colleges and universities, which receive federal financial assistance, to annually produce a report regarding campus crime and safety. Each year the updated report must be distributed to current students and employees. Prospective students and employees also must be made aware of the availability of the report.
While both the campus transparency and the Annual Security and Fire Report aim to inform the campus community, campus transparency focuses on broader institutional information and practices, while the Annual Security and Fire Report specifically addresses campus safety and crime statistics, mandated by the Jeanne Clery Campus Safety Act.
