WSSU to celebrate the Class of 2023 at Commencement on Friday, May 12

Winston-Salem State University (WSSU) will celebrate the accomplishments of the Class of 2023 at a Commencement Ceremony at Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial (LJVM) Coliseum on Friday, May 12.

Commencement begins at 9:45 a.m., and doors to the Coliseum open at 7:30 a.m. Here's what you need to know.

WHERE: Lawrence Joel Veterans Memorial Coliseum - 2825 University Parkway Winston-Salem, NC 27105

SPEAKERS: Ms. Dyamond Carr ’23, President, SGA and Ms. Faith A. Parker ’22, Senior Class President, Class of 2022

TRAFFIC: Please be prepared for heavy traffic. We recommend allowing an additional hour for entry and parking.

PARKING: Parking is free and will be available in coliseum parking lots. Please visit the Commencement website for a downloadable parking map.
