Complete These RamReady Steps

✅ Register for Classes: Meet with your advisor, check degree progress, and register for classes.

✅ Accept Financial Aid Award: Submit your FAFSA, confirm your aid package.

✅ Take Care of Your Bill: Arrange to fully cover your balance.

✅ Immunization Compliance: Confirm that you are immunization compliant in Medicat portal.

✅ Housing & Move-In: Check for important updates regarding your housing status.

Get Advised & Register for Classes: Meet with your advisor, check degree progress, and register for classes. Make sure your information is up to date.

✅ Get Advised: Meet with advisor/ASC to obtain your alternate PIN.

✅ Check Degree Progress: Review your degree audit in RAMPath to ensure you are on track.

✅ Register for Classes: Register for at least 15 credit hours for fall semester.

✅ Update Personal Information: Update your contact details in the system.

✅ Update residency status: Check with North Carolina Residency Determination Service (RDS).

✅ Complete the VA Certification Request: If you’re using Military Education benefits, be sure to submit your VA Certification Request form. This ensures your benefits will be processed on time and there are no delays in payment.

Accept Financial Aid Award: Submit your FAFSA, confirm your aid package. Maintain SAP eligibility.

✅ Complete the FAFSA – Submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).

✅ Check Your Financial Aid Status – Log into BannerRams Online to confirm your award.

✅ Submit Any Outstanding Documents – Make sure all requirements are met.

✅ Accept or Decline Awards – Accept your terms and conditions. Accept any offered financial aid.

✅ Review Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) Status – Ensure you meet SAP requirements to maintain eligibility for financial aid. If you're at risk of losing aid, you should plan for alternative payments.

Take Care of Your Bill: Arrange to fully cover your balance. Resolve any financial holds.

✅ Be sure you have fully accepted your financial aid.
1. Accept your award(s) in Banner
2. Complete Loan Entrance Counseling and sign your Master Promissory Note(s)

✅ Notify the Office of Student Accounts of any outside scholarships you are receiving.

✅ Still have a balance? Cover the difference with a RamPay payment plan.
1. Pay 20% of the balance
2. Agree to pay remaining balance in four (4) monthly installments

✅ Holds are placed for balances over $300. This will prevent pre-registration.

✅ Students must be up to date with their installments for their hold to be removed.

✅ Validation is required upon return of each semester.

✅ If you are on SAP, you must enroll in a payment plan. No exceptions.

✅ Send all outside scholarship funds to The Office of Scholarships and Financial Aid.

✅ If you are a VA student, be sure to certify your paperwork with the VA office (Registrar) before the beginning of the term.

Immunization Compliance

→ Medicat Patient Portal

✅ Confirm if you are immunization compliant in your Medicat portal account.

✅ If not, upload and submit the required immunizations.
