About the Program

Naming opportunities were created as options for alumni, friends, businesses and corporations to name buildings, spaces, departments, or faculty positions at Winston-Salem State University.

Chris and Gwen Wilson

"Our degrees opened doors for us and allowed us to seek and obtain jobs that otherwise would not have been available. The naming opportunity was a great way to leave a legacy and a message to the many students that follow. This was an opportunity to inspire other WSSU alumni to take on the challenge to support the institution that helped to prepare us for our future and has equipped us to give back."

Chris and Gwen Wilson, WSSU Class of 1983
