Meet Our Staff

Dr. Tammara Thomas

Dr. Tammara Thomas is a Faculty member in the Department of Rehabilitation Counseling and the Principal Investigator (PI) for the grant. Dr. Thomas also provides clinical services for the BeHCU.

Dr. Alicia Anderson-Brown

Dr. Alicia Anderson-Brown is the BeHCU Clinic Director and Adjunct Professor in the Department of Rehabilitation Counseling. Dr. Brown oversees day-to-day operations for the BeHCU and provides clinical services for the BeHCU.

Michael Alexander

Mr. Michael Alexander is the BeHCU Certified Peer Support Specialist and Mobile Unit Coordinator. Mr. Alexander provides peer support to all BeHCU clients and coordinates all mobile unit activities onsite and within the community.

Ms. Dione Barringer is the BeHCU Administrative Support Associate. Ms. Barringer is the first face and voice for the BeHCU and provides intake and behavioral health screenings for all clients. Ms. Barringer also assists on the mobile unit with CNA duties.

Trivy Johnson

Ms. Trivy Johnson is the BeHCU Patient Services Navigator. Ms. Johnson provides case management services for all BeHCU clients and assists with supervising BeHCU interns.

Cheri Evans

Ms. Cheri Evans is the BeHCU Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and provides clinical services to the BeHCU. Ms. Evans also supervises the BSW social work interns.

Vincent Wilkins

Mr. Vincent Wilkins is the Certified Clinical Lab Science (CLS) Technician for the BeHCU and provides behavioral health screening and testing on site and via mobile unit.

Dr. Shawn Johnson

Dr. Shawn Johnson is the Medical Director for the BeHCU and provides primary medical care to clients onsite and via mobile unit. Dr. Johnson also provides training on health disparities.

Dr. Georgia McCauley

Dr. Georgia McCauley is the Chair, Program Director, and Professor in the Department of Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS). Dr. McCauley performs laboratory testing on the BeHCU Mobile Unit and supervises CLS students participating with the mobile unit in the community.
