Holistic Admission Nursing
Holistic Admission Process
The goal of WSSU’s BSN Holistic Admission Process is to identify applicants who are compassionate and dedicated with diverse experiences, a broad knowledge base, and skills necessary to grow into nurses who are safe, competent, critical thinkers prepared to meet the constantly evolving health needs of the community.
Acceptance into the nursing program is based upon the admission criteria. Meeting the minimal admission criteria does not guarantee admission into the Upper Division of Nursing. *Based on the competitive nature of the program, some qualified applicants may not be admitted. A ranking system will be used to determine admission to the Division of Nursing. The ranking system awards points for each admission criterion. Please review information below and follow the guidelines explicitly to facilitate the processing of your application. Failure to comply with all directions and requirements will result in the application not being reviewed.
