While entering freshmen are not required to purchase a new computer, they are required to have a computer that meets the minimum requirements specified. Students not meeting these minimum requirements may experience compatibility issues with network connectivity and University provided software. Hardware support and maintenance is the responsibility of the owner. Note that WSSU has a campus agreement that allows us to offer Microsoft Office, Windows 7, McAfee VirusScan, and certain other applications at no charge while attending WSSU.
